According to CATSA guidelines, shocking devices, such as stun guns, tasers, or any electrical incapacitating weapon are strictly prohibited in both carry-on and checked baggage. These items are classified as dangerous or prohibited goods under Canadian aviation regulations and the Criminal Code of Canada. If such devices are presented at a pre-board screening checkpoint, protocol requires us to notify the police. This could lead to charges and prosecution to the item’s holder.
