According to CATSA guidelines, hard cheese (e.g. cheddar) and semi-soft cheese (e.g. brie) are not subject to volume restrictions. Cheese that is in a container with more than 100 ml of liquid (e.g. feta or mozzarella) must be packed in checked baggage.
